Beasley missed the second half of Minnesota's loss in Miami Tuesday because of the injury he sustained late in the second quarter.
"Still sore,'' he said an hour before the game in explaining his absence.
Beasley did not participate with his teammates in Wednesday morning's practice, mostly stretching and riding a stationary bike, but he did some shooting when the workout finished.
"I'm still a little stiff, but as I move, as I stretch, it gets better. The warmer it gets the better it gets,'' he said before leaving the Amway Center early Wednesday afternoon. "Yeah, I'm feeling pretty good. I don't want to jinx it, but I I don't think that's far-fetched (that he would be playing).''
Beasley was off to his best game of the season Tuesday in Miami when he took a hard fall on his back and hip in the second period, gingerly leaving the court with an obvious problem and never returning.
He had 11 points and took nine shots in just 10:35 of playing time. It was his first return to Miami, where he played last season before being traded this summer.
Wolves coach Kurt Rambis had called it a "game-time decision,'' on whether Beasley would play.
Beasley has averaged 13.8 points and six rebounds in just 24.3 minutes for Minnesota.
