Giants vs. Braves: Atlanta Levels Series on Rick Ankiel's 11th-Inning Blast

Braves celebrateSAN FRANCISCO -- Rick Ankiel's 11th-inning homer helped the Braves rally for a 5-4 victory over the Giants on Friday night in Game 2 of the NLDS. The Braves, who trailed by four runs after five innings, evened the best-of-five series at one game apiece.

The Giants had a 4-0 lead by the second inning. It seemed secure with Matt Cain on the mound and a fresh bullpen, but the Braves came back with a run in the sixth and three runs in the eighth, the last two on Alex Gonzalez's double against Giants closer Brian Wilson, who was trying for a six-out save.

The Giants also blew a chance to win it in the 11th, when Buster Posey grounded into a double play with the bases loaded.
